Like it was mentioned in a previous blog post, although YWAM is a Christian organization in love with Jesus and missions, there’s no need to dress or act like a mid-20th century ultra-conservative Orthodox Christian when you’re here. As YWAM Kona and Community Transformations, we truly value the diversity of how God individually made you and encourage everyone to express that in what they do and wear (also it’s warm here and wearing shorts is just kind of a necessary thing a lot of the time).

DTS Lecture Phase is chalked full of amazing teachings (and teachers) that will literally change your life. I remember how, during my DTS, I sat in class captivated week after week. I was thrilled to discover new things about life and Jesus and, well, a hundred other things.
So you've decided to come and do a DTS in Kona and now you're wondering what to pack. You've got the basics down: toothbrush, pillow, sunscreen, etc. But now you're wondering, "Am I missing anything?" So we're here to give you a few suggestions to fill in the gaps.
You should be able to know the testimonies and stories coming out of this community,
